4BR has spoken exclusively to Professor Edward Gregson on his return to Swansea to conduct the National Youth Band of Wales.
He talks about returning to a city where he spent two years of his early life, his delight at the way the band that he helped create in 1982 has flourished, the importance of brass band music making and his concerns over Arts Council cuts.
He also tells 4BR at his joy at being able to get free bus travel in the Principality now that he is 65!
