Following their recent successful annual conference, the National Association of Brass Band Conductors (NABBC) has announced the next date for their increasingly popular conducting seminars.

Richard Evans

Led by Richard Evans, the Workshop/Seminar day will take place at Bertie's Banqueting Rooms on Brook Street in Elland, West Yorkshire (HX5 9AW) on Sunday 7th July.

It will run from 10.00am – 4.00pm and will feature the playing talents of newly crowned Grand Shield champions Milnrow.

Exciting

NABBC Chairman Andrew White told 4BR: "The morning sessions will provide unique sectional rehearsals for brass instrumentalists as well as both new and established musical directors.

The afternoon sessions will give MDs the opportunity to rehearse a composite band composed of Milnrow and those attending the morning sectional rehearsals. The programme will also include exciting new items from composer Paul Lovatt-Cooper."

Cost

The cost for the full day is £25 for non-members, but it is free for existing NABBC members. It is £20 per person if 8 or more instrumentalists come from the same band.

This is a unique opportunity to rehearse and perform with a top flight championship winning band in Milnrow, enjoy sectional rehearsals, be directed by the inspirational Richard Evans and play some great music from Paul Lovatt-CooperAndrew White
